RFD TV has announced the popular new mini series “TruCountry” filmed live in Hamilton, Texas, will begin airing the first season episodes in Britain and Europe on sister network Rural TV based in London, England. Sarah Chase, head of the London office predicts the show will be a huge success in a market that has been devoid of traditional country music for years. “Brits love the real deal” and that’s what they’ll get when they tune in every week and see a dance floor full of cowboys and cowgirls swinging there partner to the sounds of TruCountry Music! Starting April 20th.

Amber Digby and Leona Williams did an outstanding job during four shows over here. The first day drew just over 850 and last night topped at over 1,000. Traditional Country Music is alive and well in Scotland! David McCormick, owner of the Ernest Tubb Record Shops, travelled with us and the tour was great!”

A fun and exciting weekend at The Country Classics kept us busy. We had an opportunity to meet new people, visit with some of our friends, and strengthen relationships. Here is a brief summary of what transpired since Friday night:
Outlaw sees Mark Chesnutt partnered with Producer and guitarist Pete Anderson as they reinterpret 12 classic Outlaw songs from the peak Outlaw period in the mid 1970s. There are sizzling covers of songs originally made famous by Waylon Jennings, Hank Williams, Jr., David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Joe Shaver, Tompall Glaser, Jerry Jeff Walker and, of course, Willie Nelson. Release date to be announced.
Moments ago Heart Of Texas Recording artist Amber Digby announced that she is recording a duet with Mark Chesnutt. Amber Digby said “It’s gonna be on Mark’s upcoming outlaw album (that) Time Life is releasing on Saguaro Road records.” That’s all we know at this time, but more information will be forthcoming as it develops.
