Kitty Wells – Only Me and My Hairdresser Know, from 1966
Kitty Wells “Only Me and My Hairdresser Know – is 2:52 of classic country music from 1966, and that famous Kitty Wells voice immediately brings you back to that era. Here is the official Kitty Wells website.
Kitty Wells, the “Queen of Country Music”, was born Ellen Muriel Deason, in Nashville, Tennessee on August 30, 1919, and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1976. 1937, Kitty married Johnny Wright , who is also a legend in Country Music.

Perhaps I picked a Kitty Wells song that I liked, but perhaps Kitty Wells gave us so many memories it’s hard to list them all. Do you remember I Heard the Jukebox Playing? As with all Kitty Wells songs, even if you haven’t heard one for many years, Kitty’s voice is easy to recognized and the music is guaranteed to be good.
Kitty was given the name Kitty Wells, by her husband Johnny Wright in 1943. Johnny got the name from the old folk ballad recorded by the Pickard Family, entitled “Sweet Kitty Wells”.
