Legendary Texas Country Music promoter and entertainer Johnnie High has been hospitilized in a Ft. Worth area hospital for the last seven days. The 80 year old founder of Johnnie High’s Country Music Review in Arlington, is evidentally having a very difficult time.

He started his weekly Country Music shows in 1974 and has hosted some of the greatest names in Country Music including Hank Thompson, Ernest Tubb, Merle Travis, Ray Price, Leona Williams along with launching the careers of Leann Rimes, Steve Holy, Boxcar Willie, Gary Morris, Linda Davis and many others.
