Joe Berry is an inductee in the Traditional Country Hall Of Fame, sings some songs in a Hollywood movie, performing member of “The Traditional Country Opry“, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country music. He has appeared many times on the stage of “The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree and is a national and international touring artist.

What caught our attention was Joe’s statement that he writes and performs music that people can relate to, while preserving true country music. Joe’s wonderful voice and his suberb CD “The Honkytonk Highway” are indicative of Joe Berry’s dedication to real country music. Songs like “Texas In My Blood” and “Honkytonkin On My Mind” put a smile on your face, and every track of this CD is great.

Joe said “I often hear people say that they don’t like country music these days. I also find that these same people end up liking my music. I’ve found I’m able to touch their heart, soul, and the soles of their feet with my music.”

Joe wrote all the songs on his new all original twelve song CD titled “The Honkytonk Highway” on Heart Records and the CD is already considered a possible candidate for a hit by NBC and BBC networks through Uplaya, a song rating service. The first night it aired on My 105.9 Country the station received thirty phones calls in the first forty minutes asking who the artist is, what is the title, and where could they buy the CD.

You can listen to every track on “The Honkytonk Highway” at the Joe Berry Official Site.

Joe is scheduled to do a interview with Stephan Kent of My 105.9 in a show called “The Country Yarn”. Joe and his band are looking forward to touring the rest of this year 2010 and following a great record.

Stop by and see Joe when he comes to a town near you. I know you will not be disappointed.
