Featuring Becky Hobbs with All Keyed Up
Today we are going through the music library again, and it’s time for a Becky Hobbs CD from 1988 titled “All Keyed Up”. Piano-pounding honky-tonker Becky Hobbs was an Oklahoma native and violinist’s daughter who began playing and making up tunes at age nine.
My favorite from the 1988 Becky Hobbs CD is “Jones On The Jukebox”, although there are many great songs on the CD. This CD is just as good now as when I bought it 21 years ago. Here is the track list:
1. All Keyed Up
2. Are There Any More Like You (Where You Came From)
3. It’s Because I Do
4. She Broke Her Promise
5. Cowgirls Heart
6. Jones on the Jukebox
7. Mama Was a Workin’ Man
8. Old Flame Burns Blue
9. I’m-A-Gonna Get to You
10. They Always Look Better When They’re Leavin’
Many of you remember a different song by Becky from air play on Willies Place. That song is “These Boots I Came To Town In”, and it is also a great song. The song was released in 1994.

Did you know this interesting fact? James Russell invented the compact disk in 1965. James Russell was granted a total of 22 patents for various elements of his compact disk system. However, the compact disk came into popularity when it was mass manufactured by Philips in 1980.
