Mobile music downloads not happening
Fewer than 2 percent of mobile users in the United States and western Europe used their phone to download music in the first quarter, showing the uphill task facing Apple iTunes challengers like Nokia. Instead, the vast majority loaded the tracks on to their handset from music they already had on a computer.

Nashville benefit concert announced
On Tuesday, June 22nd, the Music City community will unite to assist victims of the floods that ravaged Nashville and Middle Tennessee earlier this month. “NASHVILLE RISING: A Benefit Concert for Flood Recovery,” will take place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
