The Heart of Texas Country Music Association has bus tours scheduled for two destinations. Here is what Tracy Pitcox said about upcoming plans.
The Heart of Texas Country Music Association will celebrate its 21th Anniversary on Friday and Saturday, March 19th and 20th, and Friday and Saturday, March 26th and 27th at the Ed Davenport Civic Center in Brady.
The Heart of Texas Country Music Association is excited to return to Ft. Worth and Billy Bobs Texas for the Loretta Lynn Show on Saturday, January 23.
The Llano Opry will be held on Saturday, December 12, at the Lantex Theater in downtown Llano. The show begins at 7:30 PM. Admission is $10.00 per person and tickets are on sale at the Llano Chamber of Commerce, Llano National Bank, Lively Computers in Marble Falls.
Brady Texas Mayor James Stewart Tuesday signed a proclamation designating March, 2009 as Heart of Texas Country Music Association Month in the City of Brady.

The Heart of Texas Country Music Association will celebrate its 20th Anniversary on Friday and Saturday, March 13th and 14th, and Friday and Saturday, March 28th and 29th at the Ed Davenport Civic Center in Brady.
For those who may not be familiar with Curtis Potter he is a Country Music Association of Texas hall of famer and a student of the Ray Price era. Curtis Potter is a traditionalist and is helping to keep real country music alive and well today. In 1959, Curtis joined Country Music Hall of Fame member Hank Thompson and the Brazos Valley Boys as a bass player and front man. He had his own television show at the age of 16 and began working with country music pioneer Slim Willet.
