For those who may not be familiar with Curtis Potter he is a Country Music Association of Texas hall of famer and a student of the Ray Price era. Curtis Potter is a traditionalist and is helping to keep real country music alive and well today. In 1959, Curtis joined Country Music Hall of Fame member Hank Thompson and the Brazos Valley Boys as a bass player and front man. He had his own television show at the age of 16 and began working with country music pioneer Slim Willet.
