Amber Digby and Justin Trevino on Tru Country

The fourth episode of Tru Country on RFD TV featured Amber Digby and Justin Trevino. Once again it was a great show from the Circle T Arena in Hamilton Texas.

Justin started the show with “Texas Honky Tonk“, by asking the crowd if they like Texas counry music. Amber helped Justin on harmony. Justin acknowledged Jim Loessburg on steel guitar and Bobby Flores on fiddle.

Amber Digby was up next with “How You Drink The Wine” and she did a beautiful job as always. She followed up with “Deep As Your Pocket”, a song that is on the same CD as “How You Drink The Wine”.

Did you know that Amber was on the Grand Ole Opry a few weeks ago, and was interviewed by Eddie Stubbs last weekend? She has been busy lately.

Amber Digby was gracious in acknowledging Sirius/XM radio and Heart of Texas Records, and specifically Willies Place, Roadhouse, and Outlaw Country. The show- Tru Country – will let the world know about Texas country music, according to Amber Digby. Here at The Country Classics we work hard for that goal.

Justin Trevino was up next with the Buck Owens song “Under Your Spell Again”, and he did a wonderful job. It was good to hear this song again. “Under Your Spell Again” is a Harlan Howard song, and Jim Loessburg was a joy to listen to on steel guitar. Justin started one verse with “Amber Digby always tells me I’m just a fool” and it put a smile on everyone’s face.

Rockwell did a short interview with a family in the crowd, and it was great to hear the children say they like Jake Hooker. Jake plays bass in the Tru Country Band.

After the break Justin Trevino performed “Just Lost My Favorite Girl”, a song that is slower than “Under Your Spell Again”. Bobby Flores had an opportunity to shine on fiddle, and Jim did too on steel guitar. It was the final song on episode four of Tru Country.

Tru Country from the Circle T Arena in Hamilton Texas is on RFD TV every Friday at 12:30pm and 10:30pm CST, with replays on Sunday at 1:30pm and 2:30pm EST. The show features traditional country music at its best.
