The Heart of Texas Country Music Museum is hosting an album release party for Georgette Jones in celebration of her new album “Slightly Used Woman” on Heart of Texas Records.
The Marble Falls Opry will be held at the Uptown Theater in downtown Marble Falls on Saturday, May 1. The show begins at 7:30 PM and tickets are now on sale at the Uptown Theater, Lively Computers in Kingsland or by calling (830) 693-9996 or (325) 388-0939.

Joe Berry is an inductee in the Traditional Country Hall Of Fame, sings some songs in a Hollywood movie, performing member of “The Traditional Country Opry“, and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in country music. He has appeared many times on the stage of “The Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree and is a national and international touring artist.

From the desk of Bobbe Seymour: I told this bus story about David Houston and his exploits several years ago. However, this was before I realized how many of you loved these bus stories that us worn out crazy musicians had to use to go to our wonderful paying jobs. Of course, I’m kidding about the pay.
When I first talked with Larry Massey it seemed like a normal conversation between friends of traditional country music. I knew Larry was an artist, and he simply said “I have a CD that’s getting some air-play in Dallas and Tyler Texas, Kentucky, Florida, and Sweden.” Then Larry Massey told me he has worked for the Postal Service for almost twenty-eight years, and said “It’s never been about the money. I just want people to hear my CD and hopefully like it.”

After learning the Facebook API readers will notice the new Facebook “Like Button” on every article. The Country Classics is now tied back to Facebook and Facebook members can participate even more.
