Winford Lindsey Stewart was born on June 7, 1934 and passed away on July 17, 1985. You know him as Wynn Stewart, and now he is on MySpace.
At least 2000 new jobs have been created in Dothan Alabama thanks to a new country music district. According to Crystal Jarvis, writing for the Birmingham Business Journal, 2,000 jobs have been created in the South Alabama region with the opening of Country Crossing, a country music entertainment district located in Dothan Alabama.

Hawkshaw Hawkins was married to Jean Shepard. He was killed in a plane crash along with Patsy Cline and Cowboy Copas in 1963. He also had a tremendous hit with “Lonesome 7-7203″, and one of our readers pointed out that he was not included in The Country Classics after our first eighteen months. That was an oversight and it will be corrected now.
