On January 2009 the website “This Is Texas Music” (ThisIsTexasMusic.com) said goodbye. It is often difficult to say goodbye to any venue. In his final article Patrick said “I created this site in early 2004 as a way to help spread the word about Texas music and musicians, and also to give myself an outlet for creative writing. Over these last five years, I’ve greatly enjoyed the opportunity to learn about exciting artists, make new friends, and of course listen to lots of great music.”
A new CD is making news today. “More Than Satisfied” by Liz Talley is packed with great music. Liz Talley is a true friend of country music, and you can certainly tell by the quality and sincerity of her music.
The Llano Country Opry will be staged on Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the Lantex Theater in downtown Llano.
July 3, 2009 — Country Music Legend Ferlin Husky has been hospitilized with an accelerated heart rate and possible pneumonia, according to his record label.
Grand Ole Opry Star George Hamilton IV will headline the Llano Country Opry on Saturday, August 8th, 2009, at the Lantex Theater in downtown Llano, Texas.
