Amid jokes about being fired and expiring, Gene Williams and his co-host Katie Lynn returned to the studio this week to update the weekly television show taped live in Branson, Mo., the Gene Williams Country Television Show.

Martin Delray is a very popular artist in North Alabama where people remember those who brought a smile to their face long ago. Martin Delray is still in Nashville, but his original recording of “Lillies White Lies” is now the title track of Johnny Bush’s latest CD.
Almost everyone knows the economy is hurting CD sales. Country music album sales fell 24 per cent last year, second only to classical music in overall decline and compared to an overall decline of 14 percent, according to Forbes Magazine. Is it because it is country music, where country fans are feeling the pinch? Take the claims of another country-style venue – Professional Bull Riding. Ticket sales are unaffected. Nancy and I went to a PBR event in Kansas City, where four hours cost us $265. Two tickets cost $224.
