Tim Blake has been a country music fan for most of his life, after hearing Ray Price in 1959. He graduated from high school in Los Angeles in 1967, and years later received his Bachelor’s degree in business management with a specialty in management of technology. While working on his master’s degree in educational technology leadership Blake started writing for various publications.
Comments by Tim Blake:
“I’m right at home almost anywhere, having traveled to so many different places around the world thanks to my dad, the oil business, and the military. For the last ten years I’ve enjoyed restoring historic homes in my spare time. It’s a great opportunity to revive a part of history. Country music is always on, and I think the country classics are responsible for keeping my projects moving.
“In the same way that we can leave something for our community and friends, such as historic restoration of an old home, country music artists of previous decades set the foundation for all of country music. Many of those artists are still with us, and many are still performing. It’s always great to see and hear from legends in the business. New traditionalists keep real country music alive, while Texas music and western swing keep that tradition going strong as well. I am proud to be a part of it.”
